Passenger window won't reset...
My '12 GS has the feature that drops the window about 1/2" when the door is opened and then closes (or resets) after the door closes. I was told that this helps keep the weather stripping from getting mashed and consequently reduces leaks or wind noise.
Anyway, my passenger window opens but does not reset after the door closes. It just started doing this. Any suggestions on what to look for? I'm thinking an issue with a door module, but I'm not sure.
Have you tried resetting the window indexing yet for that window?
With the engine running and the window down, close the car door. Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done.
This normally has to be done to both windows every time the car battery is disconnected, then reconnected.

That makes sense...I just had the headlight recall done at the stealership last week. They would have disconnected the battery as a matter of procedure. Thanks...this Forum rocks...

I have re-indexed windows successfully on my C6 in the past. But now I face a problem of the window not closing until after I drive a couple minutes. Re-indexing does not seem to fix this delayed closing problem. Any ideas?

That does not seem right. The windows should shut after the door is closed, not a few minutes later.
Does both your doors do this, or just the driver's door?
Either way, I'd re-index both windows. If both doors still do this, then you have an electric component issue.
If only 1 side does this, then it's potentially your window regulator starting to go bad (frayed wire)
Good Luck! and report back with what you find, or do.

I re-indexed both windows but it's only the drivers side that has problems. Funny how it always finishes going up all the way during the first 2 miles of driving. Also hard at times to open the driver door even though key fob battery is new. It may not be lowering the window enough to open the door. May need to check out the regulator as you recommended. Thanks!

Not sure how you ck out the regulator, but if it's simple then go for it. A couple questions are, how old is your fob battery and your car battery (they may have nothing to do with your driver's side window tho)?

FOB battery is 3-4 months and car battery is 1.5 years (5 year warranty). Both are in good shape.

My 08 was doing the same thing. with help from this forum I tried taking my door touch pads apart and cleaning them, problem solved. took 1/2 hour to do both doors, vidio on Utube goes through it.
Cleaning the door contact pads was easy, removed some oxidation and helped make the door open easier/faster. At this point it looks like the window regulator is starting to go bad. Disconnected the battery and re-indexed with no change. Thanks for the suggestions.
