Default 2006 Window Regulator problem

So I found a company in Florida who rebuilds window regulators after mine went out a couple weeks ago. Cable snapped. Window shattered, good stuff all around...

Sent regulator off on Wednesday, got it back the following Friday. Went to install, and am finding that the brackets on each side which the cables run through, are too long for where they are supposed to go. I can stick the top bolt through on one of them and the bottom bolt is too low to get through its own hole. the other side seems to have the same exact problem. The other side has a nub sort of rubber bushing it fits over and the top of it has a bolt that comes through that you stick a nut on. Upon inserting this nub into my bracket, it makes it impossible to even attempt to get the top bolt lined up with the hole...

This is for sure a c6 motor attached to the regulator, but what are the chances that they gave me a c5 regulator with a c6 motor attached? are their length differences in the the regulator brackets? Is there a possibility that they sent me a passenger side bracket? Or finally, is there some sort of trick that im missing and im freaking the heck out about nothing?

Of course i receive it at 4pm in Texas on a Friday. They are in Florida and that means #ITS5PMIWLLCALLYOUBACKMONDAY

Help!

All I can do is show you my Driver side Window regulator. It's a spare as I had both sides replaced, when the passenger side broke. I figured since I was keeping the car for awhile longer, and do long road trips, I didn't want the driver's side to break while I was away.
The driver side regulator I removed looks brand new, so maybe it was already replaced by the previous owner.
The passenger side looks exactly the same except motor reversed.
Here are a few pics so you can compare.

I realize that the regulator in the pic has to be turned over from left to right to fit correctly. I can get you a pic on that side if you need it.

Is there any way someone can measure from bottom bolt near the door handle side of the regulator, up to the bolt that goes through the hole near the top of the door handle side of the regulator? I'd like to compare and measure against mine to see what I'm working with...

The Measurement is 17 3/8" from center of top bolt to center of bottom bolt on the door handle side of the regulator.
I hope that helps you out

Good Luck

Yea. Just measured mine. 18.5" door handle side, from bolt to bolt. Then around 20.25" on the other side...

Is the c5 version longer?? Who's regulator did they send me!
