Default officer pulled me over.

an officer pulled me over for having a license plate light out..whats the craziest question have you been ask by the officer?after checking my license and registration and handing them back to me. He ask me if i had any dead body parts in the trunk.Kinda shocked me for a minute.
Finally just said no sir..officer grinned and went on his way...any other crazy questions any of you been asked?

The locals tease me all the time. They told me it was a crime to drive such a nice car

Messing with you, since he knew you had no trunk.

May have been looking for a confession. Along the lines of, "No, sir. All I have back there is a little weed".

Never been pulled over in my Vett. I did get pulled over in my last car (2000 Grand Prix Daytona) once. It was weird. Woman officer says she pulled me over because I was driving a really nice car in a bad area. Well, it was not a bad area at all. Not even close. She takes my license and registration and runs it. Comes back to my car and says my tags are not registered with the state. It was a personal tag that said 1of2000 since there were 2000 Daytona Grand Prixs made. I said what do you mean? She said I ran your tags and it came back no such tag. I said well your looking right at it so there IS such a tag. She said I ran one oh eff two oh oh oh. I said try one oh eff two zero zero zero. Then she found it, apologized and sent me on my way. Just weird.

I got pulled over for the exact same reason several years ago in Arkansas. Then I get several miles down the road and realize the d-bag wrote me a warning for speeding.
I was running the speed limit when he pulled me over. And it turned out the license plate light wasn't actually out.
So far, that's only dishonest State Trooper I have ever made contact with.
I've been pulled over by 2 Colorado Steve Troopers and both have been extremely friendly and professional.

D-bags are everywhere, and the force has its share I'm sure.
When you bump into one, the feeling of frustration is exacerbated by the fact that they're in a situation of authority over you.
That's the part that's hard to fathom, just take a deep breath and move on I guess, or go to court.
That they hate, and I suspect is part of the reason why most senior LEO's are no longer (if they ever were) d-bags.

Not taking up for her but if the incorrect letter/number is entered incorrectly, it will come up no record/dead tag, or if that tag is legit, it will come back to a different vehicle of course. Sounds like an honest mistake... She admitted that and moved on, if she would have done any further investigation or found anything illegal, it would have been thrown out. FYI

Got pulled over by a Kansas sheriff who said i was doing about 90 mph, which is probably about right. just before he caught me, i was doing about 120 in the passing lane getting around some trucks. (it was a 2 lane road). He checks my driving record, which is 100% clean, comes back to the car and say's, "keep this beautiful car under control, have a nice day". Whew, that was close!!!

I realize that. I'm the one who told her she entered it wrong and told her what it meant. But I would think a cop would know the difference between an O and a zero especially when those 3 zeros followed the number 2.
Yes, she was a blond.

Around here the village Barney Fifes have to write a lot of tickets to justify their existence. No matter what they pull you over for, they say they’ll cut you a break and give you a non-moving violation (parking or equipment). The village has to 50/50 share moving violation fines with the state but they keep all of the non-moving violation fines. …and they pull you over for ANYTHING! I was stopped because my front bumper was overhanging the line at a stop sign and you can’t see traffic from behind the line. He wrote me up for ‘stopped in a no standing zone’. There are no no-standing zones in the entire village!

It’s a game. If you fight the ticket, next time you’ll get a moving violation and points on your license. It’s easier to just pay a few phony fines every year and move on.

I was stopped three times for no front plate and of course, the topic revolves around the Vette, but, no tickets were issued, just questions about my Vette.
However, back in the 70's, while driving down the road, doing 45 in a 30 a local cop ran out into the middle of the road to wave me down. He had his cruiser parked with the trunk lid up, so, I didn't see the light bar. Anyway, after pulling over and expecting a ticket, tje young cop, my age, just wanted to talk about my Vette, a 63' SWC. I must have been there for 3/4 of an hour talking Vettes with him. A real nice guy though. I never got stopped in that town after that. He must have sent the word out about me and my Vette. Other towns not so lucky!

me thinks he suspected something else from you and used that as an excuse to pull you over. if they want to pull you over they most often can find a reason to do so.
