Detailed the exterior this morning and waiting for eng to cool off so I can give it a good cleaning. Think I will go do the interior while I wait.

Then it will be time to go get it dirty again.

In other words, we, you and I as taxpayers, are paying to educate this piece of crap. I don't expect everyone to adhere to my beliefs but if you find it so oppressive here...get the eff out of MY COUNTRY! Jeezus.

Never ends does it?

I was visiting my Aunt and her family last weekend when my cousin started to brag on his Toyota pickup. Said it has 167,000 miles and going strong. Told him I had 157 000 on my C6.

Took him for a ride and he was dumbfounded at how clean and new my interior looked. He did not believe I had that many miles till I showed him.

I'm still waiting for the first day where the high is below 90. Today's forecast is for 108.

Never ending cycle of dirty & clean.

After sweating my cajones off for 3 days, doing an amazing detailing job, my 'vette sits in the garage.
I hate the thought of getting it dirty.

Next Tuesday, I'll be taking a 30 mile drive, then Friday, a 60 mile round trip.

There goes 3 days of intense detailing. After 90 miles, it will still be fairly clean.
But as we all know, "fairly clean", just doesn't cut it.

Sorry, you'll have to find one of those mean, successful 1%'ers, and take from him/her.

I'm very much in the 99% of losers.

-----------------------------------------------------

I agree with the Huskyman, those wheels work well with that color.

Although, I would imagine brake dust makes them look terrible.

Must be hard to keep them clean.

Just finished cleaning my car. Paint, wheels, eng bay, interior and hatch area. Did one section at a time.

Found a round thick bristle paint brush to clean those darn corragated wire looms. Sprayed the brush with detail spray and just brushed the dirt out of the groove. Good lord what have I become?

Take a snap or two, let's see what it looks like!

Do you normally keep your fuel rail covers on, or off?

But it has to be a conservative republican, because we all know the democrats that are 1%'ers are somehow more special and less evil. They deserve the riches thrust upon them without producing a thing.

Always on unless I am working on it like changing plugs.
With them being painted and Smooth as glass it is easy to wipe them down.

Well, that's understandable, since we all know that Liberals are more caring, and sensitive, to the needs of their fellow man.

In fact, that's why the top 10 cities in America with the highest poverty rate, have had Democrat/Liberal leadership for so many years.
The voters in those cities know that the Democrats are on their side.

Just look...

Detroit, MI (1st on the poverty rate list) hasn’t elected
a Republican mayor since 1961;

Buffalo, NY (2nd) hasn’t elected one since 1954;

Cincinnati, OH (3rd)… since 1984;

Cleveland, OH (4th)… since 1989;

Miami, FL (5th) has never had a Republican Mayor;

St. Louis, MO (6th)…. since 1949;

El Paso, TX (7th) has never had a Republican Mayor;

Milwaukee, WI (8th)… since 1908;

Philadelphia, PA (9th)… since 1952;

Newark, NJ (10th)… since 1907.

The two things that all these cities have in common, is the fact that they always elect Democrats, and after all these years, they're still poor.

Einstein once said, “The definition of insanity, is doing the same thing over and over again, and always expecting different results.”

I also keep them on.
I clean all the under hood plastic with a damp cloth, and then apply Mother's Protectant, about once every 2 months.
Keeps everything looking like new.

My kids gave me this cap set for my birthday a few months ago.
I told them they were nuts for spending so much money, but I do love the way they look.
They're made of carbon fiber, and polished aluminum.
