Got the Shark Bar in..... do not want to do that anymore.... pretty straight forward but you have to take off those plastic pieces on the Halo and both sides behind the seats.... drill a couple of 2" holes and then get it all to fit back together again..... not as easy as it sounds..... but doable and now that it is done it looks nice..... all they had was a chrome one on hand and the black red and yellow ones were not back from the painter or paint baker or however they apply paint to stuff nowadays.... so he is like sorry all I got left is some chrome ones and I will let those go for a hundred bucks off the normal price........ really? says I....... I'm like who doesn't want chrome?? bling is where its at cousins.....

Good job H1. The interior Targa trim is a pain to remove. I had some insulation prices from my kit to put under that trim. Decided it was to much of a PITA for the expected benefits. I doubled up on the hatch area above the rear tires instead.
To answer your question: I do not want chrome.....suprise surprise.

Well took the BSGS out on a run into the Star City today. It rides well... not much different then it did but it is harsh when you hit an expansion joint that makes the back end set down fast. The springs are not as nice as the original set up..... I have the shocks set on soft and I will not move them up any...... I do not know what the deal is but I had more folks say something nice about the car today then I have for a long time.... something about a slammed C6 I'm thinking..... only scraped bottom on one ridicules crown coming out of a food joint....... other then that no problems..... got steaks on the grill and Hwomen's potato salad....... meat and potato's.... the fuel of the working class..........

Spent 8.5 hours bouncing around on the tractor today. Chisel plowed a new 1 acre plot from killed pasture, then hit the 2.5 acres of established plots. Then I disced everything. It takes a long time to bust up the dead sod enough for it to be ready to plant. I probably should have stayed tonight and finished in the morning, but I haven't fully recovered from moving the sister in law. Rain in the forecast the next couple of days but sunny on Friday, so that is targeted for hand broadcast seeding, cultipacking, and dragging. Buckwheat, sunflowers, and pumpkins are going in the new plot. Trying 1.5 acres of Sunn Hemp and an acre of WGF sorghum mixed with iron clay cowpeas. I am also planting 10 pounds of Egyptian wheat to screen my approach to the box blind.
The water hole I dug is holding water and the deer are already using it, as are the raccoons. We have only had a half inch of rain so it doesn't have much water in it yet.

Had our first "in person" Corvette club meeting this evening at another member's house and thought that this picture would give some an idea of what a great looking color combination C8 convertible would look like, as well as a glimpse of a chrome bumper 427 C3 with a 4bbl carb. and 390HP and 4 speed manual.................
Wayne ordered his C8 in December 2019 and just got it about 2 weeks ago, and John sold his 1960 C1 roadster to get this 427 C3 to reside along with his triple black C7 GS'er convertible...............
the C8 is a 2LT, Sebring Orange, black topped with natural dipped interior..................
naturally, I drove to this event straight from work, so I was the only Challenger present and accounted for..............
