I got the taxes done. Close to 6 hours in it today to finish Federal and State. My brain is fried! I would pay somebody to do it (did one year) but can't find anybody around here who knows their a$$ from a hole in the ground about doing the K-1. I would probably have to find someone in St. Louis who is familiar with Edward Jones K-1. And it would be expensive because of all the associated line item entries. Don't have to worry about it until next year.
The wind and front blew in, accompanied with heavy rain and a little hail, at 4:38. The power went out at 4:45 and here I sit in a dark house. I need my coffee!!!
Edit: I told the wife I was going to get some coffee a little before 6, and that I bet the power would come back on if I did. It took about 15 minutes to get the coffee. I pulled into the garage, got out of the truck, and the power came back on before I made it to the back of the truck. 🥴

I do know who is looking for work...... the driver of the transporter that dumped that 62 Vette on its azz........ what a horror show that would be.... geez..... wth?
Sunny but cool here today..... only hitting 45 degrees but the weekend looks to be in the 70's........ now that is fully acceptable..... no storms, no snow, no moisture of any kind....... the great American Ag machine is starting to fire up..... the farmers are all coming back from the tropical islands they hang out at in the winter..... we are 2 weeks from planting..... let's get it on Husker farm nation.......

So I was sitting down in the sunroom about 2:30, heard a big "bang" outside and the power went out again. Sounded like a transformer exploding. This time there were only 14 customers without power instead of 810. It was out for over an hour this time. Our utilities are underground so they rarely go off.
...remind me that if the Hammy's detail crew is not available I will drag whatever I have down to you for a clean up....... nice work!
So the family is converging on us for Easter dinner and all of a sudden these lists come out of nowhere including...... omg....... painting the kitchen and breezeway ceilings...... for the love of all that is holy.... my best argument was ..... it looks ok to me...... which was met with her looking down and shaking her head and then giving me THE LOOK..... so guess what I been doing.... can't wait to see what is next.....
So Rocketman how does that C5 do going down the road.... perfect timing to catch the coming summer drives......
...we have banned all Budweiser products at Hammy's......... due to their celebration of Trans and the ad being broadcast..... seriously who do they think their market is? LGQBT or hard working blue collar types that get the job done everyday in this country........ I hope PBR is aware of who buys their beer.......
