Turbo(s) whistling. After watching C8 for a while my main concern with adding power would be also modifying the DCT to hold up. It appears to me the OEM C8 DCT is similar to the GM 1/2 ton trucks with 4L60E - barely adequate until you start actually banging on it. I know the huge majority don't have issues, but there are certainly enough who do to know you might end up with a problem. New technology to GM that hopefully is getting over the teething pains as they continue to learn/improve it.

heck they should have had Allison build the tranny for the C8..... those thing take a licking and keep on ticking...... in all the Duramax's I have owned and I have pulled some very heavy trailers, never once had any issue with the Allison..... or the Duramax engine...... so somebody shoehorn one of those setups in a C8.....

perfect spring day here in the land of corn..... shop cleaning day and I got a new taller carb linkage bracket for the Polara.... so will install that..... to much angle with the stock bracket..... Edelbrock Performer manifolds are tall...... got a fan shroud coming to increase the cooling from the fan..... slowly getting the car more streetable......

Still been working at the son's house every day. Got almost all of the immediate things done. Need to change a light switch, then add a breaker in the electric panel, run wiring, water line, buy a dishwasher, set it in place, hook it up, and build a cabinet around it.
