Umm, when I read it , it was pointed at basers.

There was a drive, a plane ride, then a high speed train, then a hike, then a local train ride, to a bike ride

Yeah, I've been known to get around...

It's an open track day, I'll be running in the novice group as this will be my first outing in my GS and I want to learn her specific mannerisms before I go to one of the higher classes. Car is a 6M with the only mod being the LS7 exhaust parts. I plan on keeping the car this way.

good move on your part to get acclimated...………

should be a lot of fun, and the C6 GS should be more than competitive even in stock form while still letting it breath..

ran my old '07 coupe n a few SCCA events here and in Ohio, have a brother with a C4 who is a SCCA Regional event champ, and another co-worker who is unable to use his legs, drives a C6 baser automatic and is very competitive in the Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana area...…….

they make great track cars, most important part is to be safe and have fun...………..

did the 1/2 mile race here in Battle Creek, MI last summer with my current baser 427...…….. was a blast running on an airstrip...………

I use to run my Mustangs in Drift and road course events.
This is by far less powerful but also didnt require a year of wrenching to be track ready either. I had an FRC and built an LS7 for it for track days before waking up one day absolutely fed up with working on stuff and sold it, engine is still listed for sale, crossing my fingers it sells before I am tempted to build an Exocet.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I do not believe Black Wheels would detract from the look of that one.
