Getting window tint has proved to be a challenge. Most of the window tint shops in our area have gone out of business. 2 of the 5 remaining flat out refused to do my coupe. I can respect that, it was outside their comfort zone.
I'm at Performance Glass Tinting in New Bern. He has over two hours invested in just the rear glass. He has done Vettes in the past so he's aware of what he's gotten himself into.
Mine is getting done next Friday, he has done many Corvettes and has ocd and is a perfectionist. He just did an 08Z like mine yesterday. What % are you going with on sides? Add some pics when done. Oh, ask what he did for the matrix at the top, vinyl, filled in etc. Please
North Carolina has an annual safety inspection. They check window tint to verify its legal. So I had to get legal tint. It's looking better than it did yesterday!
I went 35% also, works much better here in rural Arizona, at nite with no street lights its a bitch to see. And daytime I feel it is the best tint % anyway, plus its legal

Having my windows done this month. The tint shop uses a 3M color fast tinting material and they know how to handle the dot matrix on the back window. They have done many a C6 and told me they take their time to get it right. About $200 bucks is what he said.......I am putting on 35% all the way around......

If you get your windows tinted insist on CERAMIC tint. More expensive but well worth it. Lasts longer and looks great.

Are you going to have ceramic tint done or the standard I believe it is metallic tint?
I look for a tint shop that has prior Corvette coupe experience. It's not an easy install. I usually look through their gallery to see if they've done Corvettes. Then I go and talk with them.

So did I, oh yeah, I'm the best in town, done tons of Corvettes so I know how to do them, $300
Mine turned out OK but I see flaws for sure, and sloppiness with the soap spray left on car where it could have been wiped off IMHO
Good luck

Yeah, our tinters had the same sloppy gene. I washed the car as soon as I got home, interior as well.
Yesterday I had concerns around the dots. Today, after sitting out in the sun all day, the dot issue seems to have resolved itself. But I'm still keeping a close eye on it.
