Don't know right question to search this so here it is, temp control panel on my 09 C-6 started blinking tried everything except disconnecting the battery and restart, any Ideas? all the controls work on it heating cooling, on off, restarted the car ran through DIC and options no luck?
Hey all I just restarted my car and the temperature control panel display is back to normal, I'm wondering if putting a greenhouse cover on my car when it was in the Sun if it through off the controls somehow, I know that sounds like a stretch but that's all I can think of.
I have no answers just question.......did the light start blinking when you first started the car? OR was it while driving, and what did the temperature gauge show?
My 2006 just cost me $89 to get the "smog" light to go out.
we didn't notice when the light started to blink until 5 minutes into our drive. Never thought to look at the temp gauge. Both are good questions but all is fine now if it happens again I will check the gauges and answer back, thanks.

My '08 started blinking occasionally about three years ago. As time went on, the blinking happened more often. The display unit was replaced under GMPP. It's not an uncommon problem. A new unit can be found on e-bay for $300 or so, and installation is not all that difficult.
Search "HVAC blinking".

The head unit is starting to go. My blinked ever so often, then died after
about a year. This was a common problem. Mine was replaced free.
An 05 replaced in 08.
Mine did that on and off for a couple of days a couple of years ago. I was expecting it to go bad but to my surprise, it hasn't done it again since then. Weird!
My HVAC control unit failed about 3x last year and I was always able to fix it by pulling the fuse and then putting it back in. Well it went last week and re-set itself after I turned off the car. This morning it happened again and this time it would not re-set at all. Just ordered a new one for $285. It's not worth the hassle anymore and the heat is coming.
