vette nuts insulation kit installed!
Well, while I'm waiting on the heads to get back from American Heritage, i took advantage of the down time. I hopped in the group buy for the vette nuts kit, and just didn't have time to install yet. It went in pretty smooth, and i am pleased so far with the kit. True results once the car is up and running. It will be hard to make a good comparison though since I'm going from stock, to and HCI with kooks headers and akras, so the sound level won't be very comparable.

I installed the kit in my vert a couple years ago. The ride was quieter but not significantly so. Dumping the original GY run flats made a much greater improvement. Although I ordered a kit for a vert, they sent a coupe kit. That caused a bit of confusion trying to fit the pieces. Vette-Nutts acknowledged that they sent the wrong kit but it still took several more emails and a few weeks to receive the right panels.
