Has anyone ever got a bad slave cylinder from gm out of the box? my slave in the car was leaking not sure water at if it was the slave or the fast bleed but I decided to just replace the hoke thing and now I can't get the pedal to pump up at all!!
If your pedal is rock hard and cannot be pumped..after replacing slave... 99% sure you don't have the quick disconnect line connected properly which isn't allowing fluid to move.
The pedal will pump and I get fluid out of the bleeder but it doesn't get and kind of pressure behind the pedal at all
Power bleed the line!!!!!!!
This will put enough constant fluid down the line to drive any air out of the bleeder valve.
All pedal pumping is doing is just moving the air around in the lines instead. Hence the system is self air bleeding, meaning that the air is trying to come back up the tank from the slave between pumps, and as you are pump bleeding, your driving the air pocket down, and it just floating back up to the master.
Also, are you sure that you installed the remote bleeder correctly, and it not leaking all over the place around the slave cylinder connection instead?
no fluid is leaking any wear ,it's deff on the right way .2nd time doing this.I will have to track down a friend who has a air bleeder an see if I can use it
