Is there a way to turn of the interior lights when the doors are opened??Other then actually pulling out the bulb...
I'm talking about the ones under the dash...by your feet...

On the wiring diagram for interior lights, the courtesy lamp fuse (10A) controls more than just those lights, so no, there is no way to shut off the lights without just pulling out the bulbs, which is fairly easy to do.
The circuit controls homelink, rear compartment lights, rearview mirror lights, vanity mirror lights, dimmer switch, door ajar light, pass and driver door latch, etc etc.
Hum? On my 08 the only lights that come on when the door is open is the dome lights?
If your talking about the under mirror lights only, then I would suspect that the previous owner or someone has pulled the connectors on the under dash lights, so they don't come on.
Where are these dome lights you're talking about? I don't think my coupe has what I would call dome lights.
I call the lights on the rear view mirror Dome Lights" I was wrong about the light under the dash". I when out and checked my after dark & I do have a light that is on from below, but only on the passenger side....

One way you can do it flip the latch closed on the door jamb so the car thinks the door is closed. Gotta make sure to pull the door switch to open it before you try to close the door though.
I can relate. I guess if your passenger under dash light is working, then the bulb is either not inserted, burnt out, or unplugged on the driver side.
Easy enough to check.
Good Luck
