I just drove my C6 and I had to get into the passenger side of the vehicle after I parked it. The side window retracted slightly when I opened the door, but it did not re-extend to full height when I closed the door. I fiddled with the remote but nothing seemed to work. When I returned to the car I started it and pulled up on the passenger side window switch on the driver's door. The window could be heard closing. Is this a common problem with the C6 windows or am I just lucky? Any suggestions as to the cause?

Probably need to re learn your window. Look in Owners manual
Look up "indexing window". I think you sit in the car, hold the "down" button for a few seconds after it goes all the way down, then raise the window and hold it a few seconds after it reaches the top.
With the engine running and the window down, close the car door. Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done.
This will need to be done to both windows in the future after the car battery has bee disconnected, then reconnected.
