HELP Please! Strange new "no start" problem....
2008 C6 Coupe, A-6 auto, 96,000+ miles. Had the battery and starter replaced about 1000 miles ago when the starter button just kept going "click" but nothing else.
Now, it is going "click" again and not starting, at least on the first or second try. It shows just the engine indicator light on the instrument panel. I make sure to have my foot solidly on the brake. After a few seconds after releasing the starter button, all the other indicator lights come on, and I try again. It generally starts, although it might take one more try after that.
New starter, new battery, what else is in that starting system that might be causing this problem?

when the click click click happens.Give it a second or 3,shake your key fob and try again.It's a c6 thing.Happened to me in both 08's I had and my 05.Nothing to do with starters or batteries.If your starter is shot,you get no sound no lights no nothing.
