2008 Battery Confusion
Hey Everyone, looking for tech advice. My 2008 Corvette 3LT/Z51 base needs a new battery. I thought it was GROUP 34R, (the current battery is not the proper one for the car, so I can't compare). Then I read its an 85 Series, ....then I see people saying no, get a Group 35. I would prefer an AGM over lead/acid.
Reading some of the forums made things more confusing as several members said that there were different battery tray sizes in 2008.
Not looking to get too exotic here, NOT interested in an Optima, or Oddessy..... prefer AGM....mid $100's range.
If any of you knows the DEFINITIVE answer to this, please respond here or PM me. Thanks all !

Can't tell you the group number or the dimensions, but if you want an AGM battery, check the Platinum series at AutoZone. But be prepared to pay a little more than mid-$100s. Mine was about $185 including sales tax. I just took the car in and they sized it for me, and installed it.
