Default Mt 345/35/18 vs Hoosier 335/30/18

Mt 3788R P345/35R18 28X13.50R18
35 lbs R2 13.9 12.8
27.5 height around 350 each

So 28" tall and 35 lbs

Or hoosier drag radial
P335/30R18 26 lbs. 13.2" 26.2"

Seems like a big weight difference but I hear great things about both
Which would work best for a c6 auto twin turbo set up
Mostly used for "Mexico" with around 15 psi of power.?

IMOP your looking at the wrong tires for "Mexico" runs. We use M&H Racemasters and either from a dig or roll the M&H's work best for us. I run a 345/35/18 on the street and a 325/45/17 and the drags. Both are 28" tall and work better then any DR I've used in the past.

There is a local C5 @ 16 psi with close to a 1000hp to the wheels ran a twin turbo Viper recently using a set of the 325/45/17's and from a 60mph roll the Viper was sent home disappointed twice down in "Mexico".

345/35/18's mounted on 18x10.5" Racestars.

Larger 35 profile allows smaller wheels to fit well, since it's less likely to "pinch". For instance, R7 335/30/18 had recommended range of 12"-13", yet R7 345/35/18 has recommended range of 11"-13"

Have you had any trouble out of your tires? I am thinking of making the switch to the 28" tire and I only have ZR1 replicas that are 18x10.5. The website says it recommends an 11-13 inch rim. I am currently at 720 whp but am switching to E85 and going to bump up psi from 9 to 17=20 on my LSX 427 with YSI

After wearing out the 345 M&H's I switched to the 305/45/18 M/T R tire. IMOP it's a much more consistent tire then the M&H was. Fit's the 10.5" rim like a glove and takes little to no burnout to get them ready to go. Ran a new best 9.93@139 with a soft 1.48 60' this past January. I highly recommend the tire and at 28.8" fits the wide body fenders nicely.
