Well after having a base 08 A6 vette for less than a year, I traded for a 2011 Shelby with 710rwhp. Owned for 2 months and was not the car for me. So traded for a 2012 Grand Sport A6 and so happy to be back in a vette! Just tinted windows and new MPSS tires! Going to start modding soon. Anyway here is a couple of pics!

Vette totally different ball game than a shelby. I'm sure 700hp was fun but it does get boring when all you can do is go straight lol
Looks like the previous owner lowered the GS for you, you're lucky. Lots of us GS owners suffer from the rear wheel gap Including me.
Thanks! It was a blast but handled nothing like the vette! I actually lowered the vette before the new tires. I did not get rear as low as last the vette! I did not want to cut the bushings because of the magnetic suspension.

I can imagine. My friend had a 600rwhp terminator and that was ridiculously fast. And you had more power. But i would imagine not being really fun when you can't dip into the corners the way sports cars are meant to be driven.
I tried to lower my GS but i guess it's hit or miss with the stock bolts. I cranked those suckers all the way in the rear but got absolutely ZERO drop. Like not even 1/8" lol. It blows. I hate that rear gap.

What mods you have lined up??
I had a terminator as well with 660rwhp and It handled better than my Shelby for some reason and it was a vert!
I was pretty dissapointed when I lowered this Grand Sport. I had to raise front back up due to dragging.
I am going to put some ARH headers, X pipe and Corsa Sport on to start with it. Then go th FI route! Would also like to put some Piano Black F14 wheels on!
I too have long tubes going in, with a catless xpipe and borla S-type mufflers going in. My GS didn't come with the NPP option so its QUIETTTTTT. I can't hear crap when i drive the car lol. But i'm sure after my exhaust setup, i'll definitely be hearing it lol
Good taste on the piano black F14's. That was my first mod after tints
The wheels transform the car. Since putting the wheels on, i have gotten stares, compliments, thumbs up, even people taking pics whenever i drive around. lol

Your car is sweet lookin! Love the Torch Red black wheel combo!
At least you live in a state where you are close to sea level and can enjoy all the HP your car came with stock. Here in Colorado I lost about 20% and had to go with a A&A supercharger just to get me back (with a little to spare ) to what a stock car has at lower elevations. I plan to add long tube headers and another tune after we move to Tennessee next year.
Shelby's seem to be nice cars. Why did you decide to get out of it and back in a Corvette?

Thanks for the compliment!
I will add a supercharger after summer. The Shelby was crazy fast but just felt almost clunky. Sorry thats the only way to describe it! It was mean looking and was a rare color combo, but after driving a vette there was no comparision! Plus wife hated the Shelby and loves the vettes!
