Sounds like he was doing triple digits on the street and might have hit a bump or dip or who knows, it doesn't take much to upset the suspension at those speeds. Then bad things happen way too fast. Another reason the race track is the place to go fast, where they have smooth well maintained roads. Of course I can only speculate because no one knows exactly why the driver lost control, but based on the distance it flew, it's safe to assume triple digits were involved!

My mom has been a paramedic for over 30 years... You are much more likely to be seriously injured or killed not wearing your seatbelt. There are very rare occurs ecs where people get lucky not wearing one but those are few and far between.
