Trunk lights question.

Default Trunk lights question.
I may be wrong, but do the rear 2 trunk lights turn on when you manually turn the vanity **** on the dashboard? I rember that they did. Not certain.
Mine only activate when the trunk opens

Never tried it and I have a shade and a partition, so I can't see them without the hatch open.

mine only come on when the trunk is open. the switch does not cut them on

I have an 06 vert and the trunk light doesn't come on when the lid is lifted.Can't find the switch and don't want to pull the trunk panel out yet. Hopefully just a bad bulb. Where is the switch? Thanks for any information.
