So I sold my silver 08, and as of last weekend purchased a 2012 crystal red grand sport M6. First manual car I've ever owned, pretty much the most fun I have had, especially since previous owner only put 6500 miles on it and Borla atak axle back. My question for you all, and I'm sure it's been asked and answered many times, but....what wax would you guys recommend? I've always used meguiars carnauba wax, but is there anything out there that is better? Or makes crystal red appear even better? Thanks in advance.
After I bought my 08 I clayed it then used Maguire's Carnuba wax and buffed it out now I just Magiures quick detailer every time I wash and it shines great Velocity Yellow
Thanks guys! The wife approves of the color and so do I, dad and I have been using the 3m hand glaze to get the shine back in it. I hopefully will have it done this weekend and get some wax on it saturday. I have heard meguiars ultimate wax would be good, just wanting to make sure I use the best to keep that red popping
I have used Meguiar's products for many years with great results, but I recently bought Adam's Buttery Wax and I am now a new convert! Looks great on our Cyber Gray.
If you really want to get serious about detailing you might want to add a polish process between claying and waxing. I use Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to remove any swirling or micro-marring. Be sure to buy some quality microfiber cloths for cleaning, wax removal and buffing.
The biggest negative you will hear about waxes and polymer sealants (Megguiar's NXT) is that they don't last. I enjoy detailing our vehicles, so I re-do the process every 2-3 months.
Looks great, Crystal Red Metallic is one of my favorites next to Atomic Orange of course. LOL. I use Zymol which is very easy to apply. By the way what did you use on your 2008? Chances are it will work just as well.

+1
I applied 2 coats of Rejex last summer and it's almost time to do it again. It still has that marvelous shine, but since I've got some time off (until school starts again in September), I'm going to see if I can get it even more shiny.
