Default Seat memory recall

Can't seem to get the memory recall to stay set. I will set the memory position for driving and the position for exit and they will work, but maybe next time they revert to some other setting. I have read the manual and followed all the directions, but no joy! What will fix this issue? JDA

Are you always using the same fob? Remember that are 2 different memory settings, one for each of fob #1 & fob #2.

And you did press the correct button on the door to save it for whichever fob you were using, right?

It won't go back automatically until you open the door.

I have tried most all types of programing. It a 2006 auto vert. If I would disconnect the battery, would this cancel all previous settings? Then I could reprogram new settings. Would this help? JDa

I have 05, and disconnected battery doesn't effect memory.

No. Be sure that you're using a fob that was programmed as either fob #1 for the car or fob #2 for the car. Doesn't matter what number is engraved on the bottom of the fob.

Fobs programmed for the car as fob #3 or fob #4 do not have access to memory options.

My 05 has done the same thing for ten years. The first thing to do is zip tie all the connectors under the drivers seat as shown. Move the seat up and back and pull them out. It's very easy to do. Make sure you pull them tight.

That made a big difference. Now occasionally it will do something strange and I reset it. Sometimes it will last 6 months or more other times less. It seems to have a mind of it's own.
