Far too little information to make a judgement. What about pics? Need more details.

not really they are identical except the following

07 has vert, z51

10 has solid targa, no f55 or z51, does have steering wheel controls and the interior is the 2 tone blk/titanium

those are the only differences aside from the obvious 07 is ls2 and 10 is ls3.

Everything is stock on both, both have the same chrome wheels, etc... they really are identical except for the above

I'm in FL it will not be up much at all... I thought about the LS3 point but with base suspension, and really a no frills build aside from 3LT.

Now, now Don....are you off your meds again?

OP, the 07 drop top for sure. I have an 07 3LT vert, and bet there's no way you could tell the difference between the LS2 and the LS3.

'07 vert would be (and was at one time) my choice. Drive both if you can . To some folks the Ls3 Vettes are a noticeable difference, to others they're pretty much the same car as LS2 Vettes. Best to decide for yourself. Either one could be a nice choice depending on what you're looking for.

if you want to cruise, go for the convertible, if you want to push it, go for the coupe, how's that for an oversimplified response?

silly.. what is more important to you? vert or coupe?

it has to start there before you go into mileage, year, money..

The '07 is like new except that it's not... it's about 9 years old.. the '10 is almost 6 yrs old. why are they similar in price even though one is a coupe and has more mileage? this is a "you get what you pay for" the interior upgrades from '08+ alone is worth it to me. right down to the key fobs.. add in the steering improvements, LS3, blue tooth, newer electronics (in a car that is a nightmare in this area) and it's a no brainer...

now if you want a convertible, buy an '08+ convertible.

best of luck.. i know for me i would rather have some more miles on a newer car with the enhancements the newer model provides both inside and under the hood.

I've driven many of both engines and it seems like the variation from any one engine to the next is greater than the overall difference between LS2 and LS3. And I love the 'chopped' roofline of the Vert with the top up.

There's some really valid opinions on this thread, but just so everyone knows, the correct answer is always C6 Vert. It's stunning with the top down and with the top up, it looks like a C5 Z06. Win / win

I have always zeroed in on older(10 to 20 years) low mileage cars. Usually under 20k miles and with all those cars, I have never had an issue. I always end up giving them to family members that are in need of transportation. Affordable cars with plenty of life left in them. I love finding a good deal.

My 2007 convert had 2,751 miles on it when I bought it back in 2011 and it has been trouble free with no problems and no leaks, all I have had to do is replace the original battery.
