Bags are packed
Heading out to Norwalk Ohio for the NHRA Summit Nationals in the morning. Weather looks great so we're taking the GS, should be around 700 miles round trip,can't wait for some Top Fuel Nitro action!!! Nobody does fireworks like the Bader family!!! It's going to be one awesome weekend!!! Excellent way to end my vacation week! !!! Stay tuned for awesome pics!!!

That sounds awesome. A road trip in our Corvette is one of my favorite things to do. I don't even care where we go. A destination like you have would make me giddy.

Have a safe and fun trip. On the 13th, we leave for the Black Hills Corvette Classic. For me about a 2,000 mile round trip. I am ready to go. I will post pics when I return.

I love to watch the groups of people watching the crew work on the top fuel cars and everyone bale when they fire them up... Feels like you've been maced, part of the cool experience!

Can't wait for burning eyeballs from the nitro!!! Just got to our hotel, heading to the track shortly. I bought these tickets back in January, 10 rows up on starting line!!

Oh man, I'd sure like to be there too. I used to race that track most weekends back in '69 and '70 when it was AHRA. It's a lot better now, but I'm no longer close.

If you have never heard a Nitro car,there is no way to describe it except for the sound pressure waves shaking your whole entire body as you can tell by the pics no matter how tight I held the camera!! 10,000 freaking horsepower!!!!
