One FOB locks the car when I get out; the other never locks it when I exit. Okay, how do I set the FOB that doesn't automatically lock the car within about 5-10 seconds or so it does lock the car automatically?
No, if you're not pressing the fob lock button, the fob won't lock the car automatically.
The car has options you can set and one of those is for the car to lock itself automatically. But you must use a fob #1 or fob #2 to set that option, among others.
Evidently, one of your fobs has been programmed to use that option. The other fob must have the option set for the car to lock itself.
Read your owner's manual for how to set that option while using that fob, then press the #1 or #2 button above the door to store that for that fob number.
Thank you - each FOB is programmed separately. I didn't know that - different C6 than earlier where both FOBs so programed. I'll update the second FOB to do the same thing.
