Electrical issue

Default Electrical issue

I have a short some where go over bump car shuts off hit break car starts back up, car started up with no one in it ,check codes flashing in random order on dash.

the ignition button has been known to wear out and can give you that symptom

The shutting off part sounds like a loose ground, but starting back up when you press the brake is strange. Will the car start just by hitting the brake when it is standing still? It must be a loose ground and when you hit brakes it force ofslowing the car causes the ground to reconnect. I would tighten all grounds and make sure the battery terminals are tight.

I wouldn't leave the fob in the car. You never know, maybe it's defective.
