Any corvette owners in Buffalo, NY?

I get the same impression with the local Corvette clubs too! I had a 5th Gen Camaro and our club was/is a blast! We would do "spirited" cruises in the country (Finger Lakes), hang out at Watkins Glen for races and get on the track, and go to big events, as well as get together for cruise nights (not cruising but small local get togethers in parking lots ). I also go to Lancaster Speedway on Wednesday nights when I can. I'm still active with them even though I sold the Camaro and now have a Vette! We're planning on going to Watkins Glen for opening weekend, which we do every year weather permitting, and get on the track behind a pace car. It's not full out speed but it's a spirited romp around the track for a few laps! Great time! You're welcome to join us if you like! Shoot me a PM if your interested!

Amherst. I bought the car over summer with just over 10,000 miles. Have around 11,500 on it now.
I pulled the heads the other day, sending them out to replace the guides and a few upgrades. Adding a BTR Stage 3 cam and ARH headers as well.

After owning many sports cars including 16 years in Miatas, I bought a 2010 C6 Vert in August. Living in West Seneca, the car is sleeping in storage until Spring. I do an occasional cruise night but after an hour or two, I get bored. Thinking about a Vette club next year having been a past President of the Niagara Miata Club.

No offense to the older crowd, just the general activities and likes are not even close to what the 30-45 age crowd likes. Of course there are exceptions to everything.

I'm also interested in a club, my wife doesn't care for the car and my friends no longer have any fun cars so I'm looking for some camaraderie and people to cruise with. ssmike56 has been a part of a Gen 5 Camaro club before he saw the light and bought a Vette, but said they have a lot more fun than the typical car show and slow cruise along the river Corvette clubs around here. We should try to come up with something for fun Corvette owners around here too!

Keep in mind that this years marque at the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival in September is the Corvette. There should be a large number of them present. My buddy and I will be there with our wives.

I'm doing all of the work myself, minus the head work. I am sending the heads to American Heritage Performance. I'm a BMW Master Tech, this engine is incredibly simple to work on.
