Say Hey
Not sure what the situation is, but after about 40 min. of driving- the DIC tells me I have XX on the front AND rear side-
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds to me that your right side tpms sensors have stopped communicating, or more seriously, the sensor batteries are failing. Try reprogramning the tpms. If that fails troubleshoot the remote door unlock module. This module was the cause on my car when I had the same discrepancy your describing. And for some reason it wasn't covered under the GMPP. My dealer was sympathetic and didn't charge me.
How old is your car? TPMS batteries are long lived, I've been told anywhere from seven to as long as ten years
Wheel hub abs sensors going bad usually result in a dic warning stating, "service traction control". And a second warning, "service anti-lock brakes. With accompanying illuminated icons on the dash. On my car, with 54,000 miles I've replaced three hubs for defective sensors.
Opps, I missed that you wrote your car is a 2006. Probably not the tpms batteries.
