Default Heat dissipation.

Has anyone removed the sealing strip near to the windshield to improve heat dissipation on the engine bay and whats the improvement achieved or not.

Water intrusion would be a reason not to do it.
Get a tune done and have them adjust your fan temp settings. Unless your running some serious power in a hot climate then you have no Cochise but to go with other mods and a vented hood.

I have headers with no coating & the temps here is in the 100 degrees plus. I use the Red Neck way. Pull your hood latch & it gives you about 2" for the heat to escape. It also works like a air induction also.
