I have a 2006 C6 convertible and recently within the last month while driving I have experienced this same problem twice. While driving, all of the needles on my gauges/instruments (MPH, RPM, Battery, Oil Pressure, etc.) went to zero and my dash lights went off. The first time after a minute or so it corrected itself, but this past weekend, even after parking, restarting my car a couple times it did not correct. After leaving my car sit for over an hour, then starting it, the problem went away.

I wondered if anyone experienced this before and could advise?

How old is your battery?

 

Might be a loose connection.
