auto shift problem

auto shift problem

Anyone have a problem with the C6 auto not shifting into 6th when going onto a highway? Sometimes I have to force the shift by putting it into sport and using the paddles to get it into 6th.

Only time mine does that is when I am in S mode and have been pressing hard on the go pedal. Transmission will hold a gear longer waiting to see if you get back on the throttle. ....normal.

Not in Sport mode in regular mode.

Not mine. How many miles? Have you had it serviced?

48k never had the tranny serviced.

The recommended service is at 100,000 but I wish I had done it sooner.

My 07 does it occasionally. It will shift into 6th if I let off of the throttle. One time it locked into 3rd gear and there was nothing I could do to get it out of 3rd. I stopped and shut it off for a few minutes when I restarted all was fine again.
