It's not worth the risk to repair it, and I hate the tires anyway. I decided to bite the bullet and replace all 4. I went to order the Potenza run-flats and they're backordered until the end of September in the 325 size.

Ordered the Continentals DW's instead and a tire mobility kit. $1,166 shipped.

Thanks for all of the help!

I ordered my conti dw's from an online company. I called the recommended local installer and they told me to have them drop shipped to them. They were at the shop within 2 days.

You will not regret getting the Contis! I've had the the DWS on two different C6s and handling is great (non track of course), they're quiet, and wear well.

i've been researching Cooper Zeon RS3-S (s=summer and a=allweather).
reviews look good, several here on CF have them mounted recently and waiting to see their results.

As far as whether to do runflats or not , if you want the ride smoother and quieter do non's. Get you a good air compressor and repair kit (topic here on CF on that). Actually you probably should have a good compressor anyway!

Had a low pressure warning. Drove 25 miles at 45 mph to have it fixed. Drove another 5000 miles or so before replacing with Michelins RFs.

Actually, Goodyear Runflats are MORE durable than Michelin Runflats and built to more rigorous standards established by GM (allow up to 200 miles after flat instead of 50 miles). That is why most people complain about their ride quality. Everything in life is a compromise.

The interesting part is that she couldn't tell the difference at 75 mph... Sounds like the tires did there job too well and she prob thought the dash warning was an error....

I still have the GY on mine and have had a couple of patches done due to a slow leak, where I had plenty of warning.....

I just bought a new jeep Cherokee that doesn't have run flats or a spare.... It has a built in compressor and built in fix a flat... Which I wasn't thrilled about, but I am enjoying the extra storage space....hope I don't have an instant blow out or that I will notice the pressure warning on a leaker before I ever get a total flat... Even tho the owners manual says the tire will not be ruined by the FaF....
