So I've had the code p2135 come up twice already..scans throttle position sensor..anyone who has had this code before how did you fix it? I'm assuming it's a bad throttle body sensor which requires to replace the whole thing..I checked all my wiring and it all looks good..car is a 2007 zo6..any help would be awesome..thanks
Put the car on something like Scanmaster elm, and it will tell you if its the pedal sensor, or the TB sensor that has the problem/bad wire connection problem with the car running to being with.
Just map the two sensor out, and give the car some gas, and it will show which one of the sensors are loosing there connections to cause the problem.
Hell, you can check the gas pedal sensor without even need to start the car. Just map the sensor, and work the pedal full range to make sure that is reading are steady moving, and not a clip in the readings instead as you are pushing and releasing the gas pedal.
Also, before replacing the gas pedal sensor, might want to unplug it, spray the sensor pins and the connector receiving connector sockets with electrical contact cleaner, and see if the problem is just with a bad connection between the pins and connector receiving connectors.
