Yes, they are installed correctly. Mine are factory installed, and appear identical.
AFAIK they are not "factory" installed. They come with a template that needs to be positioned correctly by whoever does the job.
It looks like you have 1/2 inch from the wheel well in the front, and 1/2 inch in the back.
His looks like 1/4 inch in the front, and 1/2 on the back.
The 1/4 and 1/2 are just examples, my point being that his front hash mark looks closer to wheel well than his rear hash mark.
He has a beautiful car regardless!

However, sometime in 2012 that practice was stopped by GM, because they were getting far too many warranty claims for improperly installed hash marks by the dealers.
To rectify this, sometime in early 2012, the war paint was installed in Bowling Green before the car left the factory.
I know this for a fact, because I called Bowling Green when my car was in production, and asked if they could install the hash marks, because I was not comfortable having my dealer do it.
I was told it will definitely be done at the factory, and they explained why, as I have stated.
Who, or where the OP's were installed, I have no idea, but I'm certain about mine.
