Default SuperVette kits

I would love to have a SuperVette kit installed on my GS, but for $39000 bucks, it ain't going to happen. This just my opinion, but they seem to be way over priced. For that I can't even consider it. If they were maybe ten grand, I'd be thinking really hard about biting the bullet. But as it is, I can only wonder how many of those kits they sell. I've never seen one on the road.

Just to clarify, the GT6X is not a "$39,000 kit", it is a the total price of the conversion which consists of:

BODY PANELS:
Front fascia, front fenders, rear quarters, rear bumper/diffuser, front splitter, side skirts, rocker panels, hood, rear wing, and custom wheel liners

CUSTOM LIGHTING
Custom LED side markers, 3rd brake / spoiler light, tail lights, and reverse light bar.

WHEELS
Multi pc forged wheels (F: 20x11" / R: 21x13.5")

TIRES
Pirelli PZERO (F: 295/30-20 & R: 355/25-21)

EXHAUST
Kooks LT Headers / modified for side pipes, 3" round side pipe exhaust w/4" resonators, custom polished or powdercoat)

PAINT / INSTALLATION

DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR

We took 5 new orders this weekend at Carlisle, where we debuted the first GT6X conversion.

probably the best way to do it would be to buy a donor C6 that has extensive body damage with no frame or engine damage. A lot of times insurance co's will just write them off for the amount of body damage alone.

With all due respect, the use of the word kit is irrelevant. As a potential customer, I'm simply saying, if the prices were lower, you would sell a lot more of your offerings. Just food for thought.

For those who can.... you are getting an amazing looking car.

Seems like it's geared to people that want to eliminate guesswork, want something radical, that dont want o be bothered with options for this or that. Pay this much, you get wheels, tires, and a brand new car, exterior-wise. $40k puts the car on another dimension. The super deep pockets dimension. Because if your car looks like that, it better also have another $20k or so under the hood and something interesting done to the interior, something like $5-10k, to back the amazing exterior up. Some may use the word exotic to describe such car...imho

I think some of you have to respect what others do with their money, I don't understand why some people put a $50,000.00 motor on a tractor and pull a sled on dirt, those people I'm sure they don't understand me having a weekend car that I have over $70,000.00 in that will never get raced or see its potential. As one above said, a C6 base with nice interior can be bought reasonably, add this package and you have a limited production car that gets a lot of attention. It is awesome, and I'm not saying this because I got a free t shirt. Very nice guys and the owner whom I talked to was more than happy, and that's what counts.

Absolutely agree, no reason to do anything, do it just because you want it. I have no problems with companiex like these which offer something unique, and the quality is there to back their products. I wish I could afford their products, but such is life. Happy for those who can, no hate.

In our industry, a kit is generally a package that can be packed up and shipped out.. This conversion requires quite a bit of custom fabrication, which would cost our customers much more in the long run if a shop has to learn as they go so to speak. So, for this reason, we offer a flat price as in house conversion. That's all.

(If GM sold Corvettes for $20k less they would sell a lot more too, but at a certain point it's just not feasible, in fact, most people who saw it at the Carlisle show this weekend were amazed at everything included in the price.

Oh I get it now. You all do the work yourselves, and do not ship the parts out. Sigh, for now, I can only dream of a SuperVette. And they are Super! By the way, does the price include paint? If so, do you all re-paint the entire car? Or just the purchased parts?

Nicest car at Carlisle much more styling than the C7 IMO. If I was in market I would give them a serious look. Who knows they could be the next Callaway, Lingenfelter or Hennessey.

Personally, I think the kit is GREAT and if I had the $$ and wanted to keep the C6 (not going to a C7 anytime in the foreseeable future) I would be all over it. I think it's a great look for the vette. Just paint it Atomic Orange and go on about the day!
