I read there will be a recall on 09s for catalytic converter replacement? True? Also, key fob battery was running out every month. I had been getting replacements at a well known battery retailer. Went to my dealer and he replaced the 2 with GM stock and no problems since. Beware of cheap asian batteries seems to be the moral.

There's a recall out for replacement of the catalytic converters (covered in other threads, which you can search for), but as I recall it's only for those that were built to California emission standards. Mine was not included.
I bought Sony batteries from Amazon. They're ridiculously cheap ... I think I got 20 of them for about $8, free Prime shipping. I changed batteries in both my fobs about 4 months ago and they're still going strong. My originals lasted about 5 years.
