That does not sound correct.
I can roll on the throttle and move out, but stomping on it causes the rear end to want to step out or come around with the slightest perturbation in the road surface, or a curve.
some people have described that as the torque management limiting the car when you stomp the pedal and notice less pull....idk, sometimes ive noticed that as well.

Yes, I think it could very well be the stock torque management. I've witnessed this myself and my car is 100% stock drivetrain and no tune.
I typically launch at about half throttle, then roll on the rest, rather then just stomp full from a dead stop.
