Default Winter Project

I have a 2012 Grand Sport A6 with 20 K miles .....love the car....use it for touring, no racing beyond an occasional stop light duel. When I take the car off the road for the winter I plan to change the brakes due to heavy dusting. Unless I get information to the contrary I'll probably go with Carbotech. I have 3 questions:

1. My rotors are drilled and appear to be in good shape, can they/should they be turned before installing new ceramic pads, or should new rotors be purchased?

2. I plan to do the work myself as I have appropriate tools and experience but I have not done a Corvette. From what I have read, one piece pads vs. padlets are easier to install but I am unclear about performance, I'd appreciate some opinions.

3. Does the brake fluid need to be changed in the process? If so can bleeding on this car be accomplished by pumping the brakes and cracking the bleeder or is another method required.

Thanks in advance.....C/

These 2 links below may be of some help to you. It would not hurt to bleed the system. Also, the rotors are $61.00 on Amazon I would just get new ones but that's up to you. As always when your ready for the Carbotech pads give me a call at 216-780-8825.
