any special prep I should do prior to having clear bra applied?

I would give it a rub with a clay bar. Your installer may do it anyway,he at least should use an alcohol/water mix to remove wax.

I've had three cars done. My guy does all of the prep including claying.

I usually take him a tube of touch up paint for any last minute fixes he might spot when car is in the air under bright lights.
