Default Grille Insert purpose
Anyone know why this piece is removable? I have no clue why. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

It is a removable portion of the grill for maintenance. I forgot what is to be maintained. Someone else here can advise I am sure.

It's one of the areas that one would install a front tow hook, and to get access, you remove the plastic piece.
