I remember reading about a kit with new foam to rebuild c6seats . Does anyone know about them.
I have a 2007 C6 and a 1986 C4. Do I have to get 2 diagnostic tools or can I purchase one that would do both.

ok.. as for the seats, there is a kit to rebuild a collapsed side bolster if that is what you are asking about ...

 

I remember reading about a kit that repairs the seat foam that was cut buy the wires in the seat. The kit included new foam and fabric to put between the foam and the wires.

 

There are two types of seat repair. One kit fixes the seat foam being cut by the seat wires. It consists of a reinforced pad to place between the seat and wires but does not replace the foam. You will need a second kit that has new molded seat foam. Here are examples they are available at other vendors also.
