Default Damaged billet grill

Hey guys, need your opinion,I have a billet grill I took out of my GS that was hit by thousands of glass nuggets,it pitted the bars pretty deep,I tried sanding them out but that just won't work,I was thinking about using a filling primer ,maybe several coats to get level again and painting it,any ideas,BTW ,I replaced it with a new billet grill ,just don't want to toss this one .

Me thinks you're being a tad ****. But, what about powder coat. Wouldn't that help fill the imperfections?

If you seen how bad these pits look you would try other things too, powder coating is an excellent idea!

Try plasti-dip? I've never done it not have ever suggested it, but since this is a part that you have that you aren't using at the moment, might as well try it!

Or see if you can just buff out the major scratches!

Plasti dip I don't think will fill in the nicks,if you can't sand out the nicks ,I doubt buffing will get them out,I might try plasti dip anyway ,I have never worked with it either.i also have a carbon Fiber splitter that was damaged at the same time, mostly clear coat damage. But I might try clearing it again and see how that works.

Plasti dip will fill the pits. You put 4 to 5 coats on. Powder coat after rotary sanding.....black would look good.

buy a new one you cheap b******. J/K I put one of those on and it started to rub so I pulled it off. How about a mesh one behind the stock black? You have black wheels so no one really expects your car to look good.

My mistake. First time ever. I got too excited when I thought I had a chance to dog you. Just put it in storage for me to use in the future. I'm old ok? I make mistakes (almost never). Cut me some slack.

Hey OP:

Can't help with your problem, but could you explain the "Glass Nuggets"? Your front end should have got hammered too.

Good luck with the fix...
