C6 or C7?

If you're the type to fall into the whole "have to have the new car out" phase, get the C7 no doubt. It definitely looks more modern than the C6, for obvious reasons. The technology is great. The interior is incredible, just small.
When i was at the track, there was a base C6 and a C7 parked in tandem and i swear the C7 looked slightly thinner than the base C6. Don't like that at all. I like the widebody of my GS. Don't think that look will get old for a while. People still stare and break necks whenever i drive around. And i only have tints and wheels for cosmetic mods.
As far as performance, is the base C7 that quick? I'm sure handling will be better but not all of us take the car to the track and like to play a bit on straight road. Is it faster than the LS3 C6's??? If anything it's even. And i would choose the LS3 a million times over the new LT1.
