Default Spark plug replacement

This weekend I'm planning to replace the Iridium spark plugs in Red. I have a full set, along with Thundervolt replacement coil wires.

The installed spark plug ends of the coil wires appear intimidating for someone who's never done this on a C6 before. Is there anything about the removal and replacement process I should know in advance?

It's just a heat shield. Easy job.

Make sure to use anti seize on them and do it when engine is cold.

Install new plug with an 8 inch piece of fuel line.
Stick the top of the plug into the fuel line then drop the plug into the spark plug hole and turn the fuel line.
This will save you from any possibility of cross threading the plug and/or hole.
Once the plug stops turning, torque to spec with a wrench.

Easy job. Easy to mess up the threads if you don't use the right tools for the job.
