Any of you guys that have tints have any issues with really bad reflections during night driving? I had a Mercedes at one time with tinted windows and it was dangerous to drive at night because the reflections inside the cabin were so bad. Is this an issue with Vettes?
Never heard of that problem with tinted windows. Had both my vettes tinted as well as my last BMW and never did have a reflection problem. In fact it helped alot by reducing the glare from car lights behind you.
I don't recall the percentage of tint on mine but it's fairly dark. I don't get any reflection at night but it can be hard to see out the sides sometimes.
35% sides and 20% for the back.......works great.......get a shop that knows what they are doing especially for the back window and only use the best tint materials.......
I've never heard of issue wrt light reflection on tint. Maybe light refraction. That's weird.
I agree, it's probably the type of tint used. I could see where some metallic or semi-metallic tint *could* show a reflection. Try Carbon. I've got Suntek CXP on both my cars and have had no issues so far.

I just bought a car with a tinted rear window, and on the drive home I noticed that the reflection in the mirror was distorted. Is this common with tinted windows? I can't see any bubbles or other imperfections in the tinting.

All of my cars get tinted, none have any more distortion. Might be the rear glass.
