Default Curb rash repair costs?

Is $125 a tad high for this damage to the edge of one wheel from an 06?

That is exactly what I paid a year ago to repair curb rash on my wife's Mercedes.

Go on YouTube and search "Chris Fix". He just did a video on repairing curb rash this week. It will give you an idea of what is involved whether you DIY or pay somebody.

You know, as short as these cars are, they sure have a sh*tty turning radius...

Nice video, thanks. Surprised he sprayed on three coats of clear in 15 minutes though. Mine are the base painted silver wheels.

from everyone that I've read in various cities, that is the usual price, $125.

My wife got both wheels on the right side of her ATS last year. Cost was $140 for each, but the guy did a meticulous job. They look perfect. I can't remember the name of the place, but he was a franchisee of a national chain.

In the PNW it's WheelkraftNW. I believe the charge is $140.00 to clean up curb rash and for $160.00 they will refurbish the entire wheel.
