Michelin Pilot Super Sports is what everyone loves around here
Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 and S4 Pole Position is what I have experience with. Both perform really well for summer tires and noise reduction is significant vs. OEM run flats
The S4's is what I'll stick with for now since they have a wallet friendly low price but still perform great
Just did that, wore out my GY g2,s and went with Michelin super sport non run flats. Go look up all the reviews in tire rack close to 800 on the super sports alone. Very comfortable, steering wheel is very quiet now, they feel very planted, wider, lighter than RF, s. Goes, turns and stops better than than anything else, It is the number 1 rated performance tire. Plus is a thread wear rating of 300. They will also last longer. Somebody on the forum had told me i would love them and he was absolutely correct.

3 votes for Michelin. i will go to tire rack as well. thanks
Our 2009 Z51 started out with the Goodyear Supercar tires (stiff, noisy, performance degraded quickly with mileage), then two sets of Michelin PS2 runflats (a little softer and quieter, more grip, and lasted longer), recently the Michelin Super Sport runflats. Despite also being runflats, our new Super Sports are markedly smoother riding and somewhat quieter than the PS2 runflats. Grip may be a little less than the PS2's, but still very good.

thanks for your help, looks like Michelin is the front runner!!!!!
I got both my sets of Michelins (PSS for summer and PS A/S+ for winter) at Costco. The price was better than Tire Rack because back then, they charged about $35 per tire for the road hazard warranty...it is included in the $14 per tire mounting and balancing charge at Costco. They did a great job and did not scratch my chrome wheels.
Find your best price on-line and Discount Tire will usually match it.
You might also consider replacing your TPMS sensors as they are approaching the age where the batteries begin to fail.
Discount Tire sells a C6-specific replacement and will program them for free.
I've had Michellin PS ZP runflats and Nitto Invo non-runflats. Both excellent tires, non-runflats are much cheaper, quieter and smoother, but you need to add AAA and/or a Slime Kit to deal with punctures/failures.

Hey you would find this interesting cclive,
I first priced my super sports on tire rack, came to $1400 shipped for set of 4 (GS sizes) than I called Costco which quoted $1500 installed which I thought was a good deal. When I went to order them they told me that since my GS came with run flats, they would not put non run flats on it. I was flabbergasted!. I told them, it is my damn car, if I like I can put on monster truck tires. I called the other Costco to confirm, yes that was the case. I did ended up ordering them from tire rack and go through the hassle of taking 2 wheels and two tires to my favorite wheel shop twice in my daily driver. FYI, tire rack now includes free 24 month road hazard warranty with these tires, which is less than the 36 months at Costco but it is what it is. Nuts!, what is this world coming to?

I knew that they were fairly picky about not wanting to put on tires that were not the OEM size but I didn't know that they took it to the tire construction also...interesting.

COSTCO would have mounted the non run flats if you had thrown the spare from another car in the back and told them it was for your corvette. At least that's what my store told me. If I showed thrm a spare I was good to go.
