Is the Ultraguard Plus too heavy and overkill to use in aheated garage over the winter? I amhaving a hard time deciding between that and just a light weight satin cover.
The OEM GM Vette cover in red looks amazing on car; like a piece of sculpture, and fit is like custom suit with soft nap underside (not just plain satin), Comes with duffle bag logo and fits in corner of trunk. $265
Covercraft makes a very nice Tan Flannel which is as thick as a Champion sweatshirt and ultra soft underneath. It provided a little extra bump-protection for accidents in garage (ie, broom handle falling, walking w/12 pack around corner and hitting car). Fit and stitching is excellent and mine is on 9yrs after annual commercial laundromat wash. $225
California car cover makes a 100% cotton cover (Plush-weave i think) thats a nice budget option and only 100% cotton on market. $185
The Kimberly Clark / 3M synthetic outdoors covers eventually trap dirt, you have to hose off on driveway or lawn or car! (and they harden and become like cardboard) IMHO.
The Forum Vendor covers here dont look that great on (sagging, pig-ears mirrors, drooping ends), but prices are like $100 less.
Big issue is how are you going to keep your cover clean (both sides); unless its machine washable, eventually they become dirt magnets.

I see many covers advertised as stretch and/or tight fit but I keep my car garaged and just want a cover which easily slides over the body. Any recommendations which companies make something like this?
I have a COVERKING custom car cover that I picked up on the C6 FS section and it fits like a glove. I store my cat in a heated garage, so just a cover to keep the dust off.
