Wife and I took a run through Lancaster County, Pa. yesterday.....out through the farmland. Went by a young Amish guy plowing his field with a team of horses...we were doing maybe 45-50 on that back road and he obviously heard us coming....he turned and gave a long look at the Vette...i tooted the horn and he waved!!! Then today....I'm on my way to Lowes and a guy in a high end late model Mustang vert (beautifully cared for ) rolls up along side me at a light gives me a thumbs up and I do the same! Two great moments of respect and appreciation on the part of all involved!
We take our sport bikes to southwestern Wisconsin quite often. The amish down there stand in the fields and stare in awe as we cruise by. We honk and they sheepishly wave.
This one time...I had a football and I let people play with it...they waved goodbye afterwards. I shot up with heroin for the first time that day as I wanted that feeling again, I was 9.
