Default 140mph!

So...as we get close to "end of season" here in Pa....took the GS on a run...on the PA turnpike.....got to the bridge across the Susquehanna River ( its 1 mile long ) was doing 70 at the beginning ( after a good look at almost no traffic and no cops ) put it D as opposed to the manual paddle shift ..... punched it to the floor and BOOM it downshifted to something , did not upshift till 140 and i was at the halfway point on the bridge! ....coasted the rest of the way across....WHEW! ...love the car!

I did the same while playing with a Challenger R/T leaving the AZ/Cal HWY 40 Inspection station a few weeks back. We left with me behind so I dogged him till about 80, then I said what the hell, jammed right by him and pulled out at 135mph with him in the rearview, felt good, real good

Corvette's are amazing vehicles. Sometimes I wonder how people CHOOSE to daily drive boring cars living in the South.

Hahah... boy all three sure tried hard

There I was minding my own business driving down a nice 4 lane country road (in Mexico of course ) and these three came up on me like a bunch of wasps ..... two regular GT'S and a GT that sounded like it had a cam . The big boy came to the front of the line and gave it his best while the little guys tried hard to stay with us . When we got to the next light he put his window down and gave me a thumbs up ......

What a rush .....

Close to 70K miles of smiles from mine

And what's really fun is to open it up on the Daytona Speedway, and hit over 160 when just playing around, with no worries of the flashing lights

They are lots of fun to daily drive. I really do enjoy the 26 mile commute in the morning and then again in the afternoons with the vette. They even drive pretty nicely in the rain as needed as well..

The GS A6 has 2.73 gearing and will hold 4th gear to around 160.

Although it doesn't take much time/distance to get up to 140 MPH when you start force feeding this car...

This is how the car should have come...it's downright terrifying everytime I drive it but man what a rush!!!!

Oh this pull is with a boost leak...notice it drops to 10psi at the end
